Southeast Asia has a complex geography and is logistically difficult. Although everything looks good, in fact, to develop e-commerce, in addition to online payment is a local difficulty, there is also a huge obstacle - logistics. According to relevant reports, Southeast Asia lacks warehouse-type retail, with only 1/3 of retail stores in the United States, and there are many islands, especially remote islands, especially Indonesia and the Philippines. Trade policies vary between countries, and customs clearance is variable. On the other hand, customs clearance will also become a big difficulty in logistics. There are 11 Southeast Asian countries and 6 major countries, and the trade policies of various countries are different, the degree of infrastructure construction is different, and they are generally backward. A single customs procedure problem can cause a lot of unpredictable factors and policy timeliness losses in logistics, and it is not feasible to speed up e-commerce, and it is not feasible to solve logistics problems.
The development of cross-border e-commerce is inseparable from cross-border logistics, cross-border e-commerce has many new characteristics compared with traditional e-commerce, in logistics, China's cross-border e-commerce has encountered new problems and risks. Combined with the new characteristics of China's cross-border e-commerce, this paper analyzes many problems and risks of cross-border e-commerce logistics, and proposes that overseas warehouses are an effective way to solve many difficulties in China's cross-border e-commerce. Wanshang overseas warehouses cover overseas countries, such as the United States, Japan and other countries, and international special lines also cover Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, etc., which can provide one-stop cross-border logistics services for cross-border e-commerce sellers.
